BFAPF VP Ann Shafer talks to Jim Stroud, Center Street Studio
Center Street Studio was established by artist and master printer James Stroud in 1984. Stroud worked with legendary printmaker Stanley William Hayter at the renowned Atelier 17 in Paris in 1980-81 and then went on to earn his MFA degree in painting and printmaking at the Yale School of Art. Over the past 38 years, Center Street Studio has become known as New England's premier publisher of contemporary prints in intaglio, woodcut and monotype techniques with established and emerging artists.
