Flatbed Press is the publishing arm for Flatbed Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Austin, Texas. Established in 1989, Flatbed provides educational programs, community access, independent and collaborative residencies, and publishing opportunities for emerging or established artists. Flatbed seeks to engage the community through its exhibitions with hopes of increasing the appreciation and understanding of the fine art print.
Over the past 33 years Flatbed has collaborated with over three hundred artists and has a deep inventory which includes work by both established and emerging nationally and internationally recognized artists including Adrian Armstrong, John Alexander, Laura Berman, Michael Ray Charles, Trenton Doyle Hancock, Melissa Miller, Celia Muñoz, Nick&Jake, Lance Letscher, Liliana Porter, Dan Rizzie, James Sullivan, and more.
