BFAPF exhibitor Tom Hück sits down with Fine Arts Baltimore VP Ann Shafer to talk about this Outlaw Printmaker’s large-scale, multi-panel woodcuts that skewer rural life in the American Midwest in all its unabashed weirdness and glory. Hück’s most recent edition is a rumination on American gluttony called Monkey Mountain Kronikle. It’s a double-sided woodcut triptych that opens and closes like a traditional altarpiece and stars Lord Aporkalyptus and his bevy of brides. They talk about this masterpiece plus print history, Albrecht Dürer, and the print ecosystem.
